Jakarta, August 5, 2026 – PT Inspeksi Sertifikasi dan Survey Indonesia (Persero), or IDSurvey, is strengthening environmental education from an early age through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, Generasi Muda Hijau (Green Young Generation), in its assisted community of Bidara Cina Urban Village, East Jakarta.
The program was held at SDN 03 Bidara Cina Pagi and involved approximately 330 students and 20 teachers. Generasi Muda Hijau represents the implementation of two of IDSurvey’s priority TJSL pillars: Education and Environment. The initiative is designed to foster environmental awareness through simple habits that students can incorporate into their daily lives.
Amid the challenge of maintaining a balance between economic growth and environmental sustainability, IDSurvey believes that environmental awareness must be developed as a collective mindset and translated into tangible actions. Instilling these values from an early age is an important step toward shaping a generation capable of safeguarding environmental sustainability in the future.
The program materials were delivered through interactive activities, enabling participants to learn about the state of the planet and various environmental challenges, understand how to sort waste by type, develop environmentally friendly habits, and recognize the role each individual plays in maintaining cleanliness and environmental sustainability.
As part of its commitment to improving the quality of education and supporting environmental sustainability, IDSurvey also provided waste bins, cleaning equipment, and reusable tableware to help reduce plastic and packaging waste. The assistance is expected to support the learning process while creating a cleaner, healthier, and more comfortable school environment.
IDSurvey Chief Financial Officer Sinung Triwulandari emphasized that the involvement of younger generations is an important factor in achieving sustainable development.
“I believe that the younger generation will become the driving force for change, the leaders of the future, and the guardians of our nation’s sustainability,” Sinung said.
In implementing the program, IDSurvey’s TJSL Unit collaborated with Bidara Cina Urban Village, Relawan Bakti IDSurvey untuk Indonesia (BISA), and Maheswari IDSurvey, who served as speakers, facilitators, and activity mentors.
The program is expected to enhance environmental literacy, foster environmentally responsible character among children, and strengthen educators’ capacity to deliver creative and sustainable learning. Through education, collaboration, and empowerment, participants are encouraged to become agents of change who can promote a culture of clean and sustainable living within their schools, families, and communities.
IDSurvey believes that the transformation toward a more sustainable way of life requires synergy among government, businesses, academia, communities, and society. Within this collaboration, younger generations play a strategic role as both drivers of change and guardians of future sustainability.
The Generasi Muda Hijau program also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education, SDG 11 on Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 12 on Responsible Consumption and Production, and SDG 13 on Climate Action.
