Jakarta, 14 July 2026 – PT Inspeksi Sertifikasi dan Survey Indonesia (Persero), or IDSurvey, has entered into a strategic partnership with PT Danantara Investment Management (DIM) to support the development and implementation of integrated waste processing systems in Indonesia. The partnership forms part of efforts to strengthen sustainable waste management, promote the adoption of modern processing technologies, and support the implementation of a circular economy and Indonesia’s national energy transition.

The collaboration was formalised through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 13 July 2026 by IDSurvey President Director Ari Sudono and PT Danantara Investment Management Investment Director Fadli Rahman at Wisma Danantara Indonesia, South Jakarta.

This partnership represents a strategic step towards strengthening the foundations of governance, quality, safety, sustainability, and regulatory compliance in the development of integrated waste processing systems. It covers the entire waste management value chain, from planning and processing to resource recovery and the development of waste-to-energy conversion technologies.

Through this partnership, IDSurvey will provide integrated Testing, Inspection, Certification, Consultation, Classification, Statutory, Verification, and Training services, or TIC Services, to support every stage of project development, from planning and construction to operations and post-operation activities.

The scope of the partnership includes a range of strategic services, including technical assessments and feasibility studies; inspection and testing of facilities and infrastructure; certification and classification of installations; verification and assessment of the Domestic Component Level, or Tingkat Komponen Dalam Negeri (TKDN); environmental impact assessments; project risk assessments; technical consultation and assistance; and human capital competency development in waste management and renewable energy.

IDSurvey President Director Ari Sudono stated that waste management is one of Indonesia’s strategic national challenges, requiring cross-sector collaboration, strong investment support, and the implementation of standards capable of ensuring project quality and sustainability.

“Waste management transformation is not only about handling waste, but also about creating added value through the adoption of technology, the application of sustainability principles, and stronger governance. Through this partnership, IDSurvey is ready to serve as a strategic assurance partner in supporting the development of reliable, safe, and efficient integrated waste processing systems that comply with both national and international standards,” Ari Sudono said.

He added that the development of integrated waste processing systems requires a comprehensive approach, as it involves technical, environmental, social, and investment considerations, as well as compliance with various regulations. The involvement of an independent institution capable of providing quality and compliance assurance is therefore essential to strengthening stakeholder confidence and accelerating project implementation.

Meanwhile, PT Danantara Investment Management Investment Director Fadli Rahman stated that the development of integrated waste processing systems requires sustainable investment support, sound governance, and well-prepared projects.

“Waste management represents both a challenge and a strategic opportunity in sustainable development. Our collaboration with IDSurvey is expected to strengthen project quality, compliance, and sustainability through comprehensive assurance support, thereby enhancing investment attractiveness and accelerating the implementation of modern waste management solutions in Indonesia,” Fadli Rahman said.

As Indonesia’s State-Owned Survey Services Holding Company, IDSurvey possesses integrated capabilities through the synergy of PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero), PT SUCOFINDO (Persero), and PT Surveyor Indonesia (Persero). Collaboration among the three entities enables IDSurvey to deliver comprehensive assurance services throughout the value chain of integrated waste processing system development, covering initial studies, procurement and construction, facility operations, residual waste management, and post-operation activities.

Through these capabilities, IDSurvey can provide end-to-end support encompassing testing, inspection, certification, verification, technical consultation, environmental assessments, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) implementation, emissions verification, carbon economic value verification, as well as the strengthening of TKDN and regulatory compliance. These services are intended to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with applicable quality, safety, and sustainability standards.

The partnership also creates opportunities to strengthen ESG implementation, which is becoming an increasingly important consideration in the development of future infrastructure and investment projects. This support is expected to reinforce stakeholder confidence while enhancing the competitiveness of waste management projects in Indonesia.

The partnership between IDSurvey and Danantara Investment Management is expected to accelerate the development of integrated waste processing systems capable of addressing Indonesia’s national waste management challenges, expanding the use of environmentally responsible processing technologies, strengthening domestic industries through TKDN implementation, and contributing to the achievement of Indonesia’s sustainable development targets.

Through this collaboration, both parties are committed to optimising their respective competencies and resources to deliver innovative and sustainable waste management solutions that provide tangible benefits to communities, the environment, and the national economy.
