As part of its Eid al-Adha 2026 TJSL Program, IDSurvey provides free halal certification for livestock and poultry slaughterhouses (TPH/TPU) to support industry readiness ahead of Indonesia’s 2026 mandatory halal certification requirements.

Jakarta, May 28, 2026 – In commemoration of Eid al-Adha 2026, IDSurvey has provided free halal certification for slaughterhouses and poultry slaughterhouses across several areas in Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) and distributed qurban animals to communities surrounding the company’s operational areas. This initiative forms part of the company’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) commitment to strengthening its social contribution while creating economic value. It also serves as an initial step in the continuous development of slaughterhouse operators to strengthen the halal ecosystem within the company’s areas of operation.

On this occasion, IDSurvey Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Sinung Triwulandari, emphasized that the qurban program is not solely focused on the distribution of qurban animals, but also on ensuring that the entire slaughtering process complies with verified halal standards. According to her, this approach is essential to ensure that community outreach efforts remain aligned with the principles of quality, compliance, and sustainability.

In line with this commitment, IDSurvey has further strengthened its strategic intervention through a free halal certification facilitation program for operators of slaughterhouses and poultry slaughterhouses (TPH/TPU), as well as Halal Slaughterer (Juru Sembelih Halal/Juleha) training programs. This initiative reflects the company’s Creating Shared Value (CSV) approach, whereby social responsibility programs are designed in alignment with the company’s core competencies in certification and standardization. As a result, the program not only assists business operators in meeting Indonesia’s 2026 halal certification requirements but also enhances competitiveness, expands market access, and simultaneously strengthens the national halal ecosystem while supporting the company’s long-term business relevance.

Furthermore, Sinung noted that halal certification and the enhancement of Halal Slaughterer competencies represent strategic measures to drive transformation within the national food sector. She explained that businesses capable of meeting halal standards not only fulfill regulatory requirements but also gain greater opportunities to strengthen consumer trust and expand market penetration, including access to broader supply chains that adhere to international standards.

The program was developed in response to the implementation of Law No. 33 of 2014 on Halal Product Assurance, which requires all slaughtering products and services to obtain halal certification. Without adequate support, micro and small enterprises (MSEs) often face challenges related to financing and technical readiness, which may hinder market access and business competitiveness.

“Slaughterhouses, poultry slaughterhouses, and Halal Slaughterers are critical control points in ensuring the halal integrity of meat products. As a Survey Services Holding Company, IDSurvey’s role extends beyond that of a TICC institution; we are also a strategic partner to the community. Through TJSL programs built upon our expertise, we create shared value by improving business quality and regulatory compliance,” said Sinung.

Through a TJSL approach grounded in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, IDSurvey delivers programs that go beyond charitable assistance and focus on sustainable capacity building. The facilitation includes guidance in developing the Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH), facility audits, and nationally recognized competency certification for Halal Slaughterers, enabling businesses to meet ASUH standards (Safe, Healthy, Whole, and Halal).

From an economic perspective, halal certification provides significant added value for businesses, ranging from increased consumer confidence to expanded access to domestic and international markets. This initiative also supports Indonesia’s ambition to strengthen its position as a globally competitive halal industry hub.

Moving forward, IDSurvey remains committed to expanding the reach of its expertise-based TJSL programs in order to build an inclusive and sustainable halal ecosystem while generating long-term economic benefits for communities.
